Oh you are a mucky kid
Dirty as a dust bin lid ....
Look at these kids. They have been playin the dirt since 6:30 AM. They are on their way to being housebroken - or they are training us very well.
"What?" , you say, "they're not housebroken?". You have to realize that these kids are only 6 months old and they have come straight from a farm in NH.
Jack and I picked them up for Big Fluffy Dog Rescue. Something about playing with a chicken!!
They are very sweet - Faith and Tess. We have them until tomorrow and I must say that they have caused us to change our ways. For instance, we are up at 6AM to take them out of their crate and get them outside. Unintended consequence: having our morning coffee outside and enjoying this beautiful weather we have been having. we spend most of the morning outside reading the paper (or playing with an iPhone).
Having come right off the farm when we picked them up on Wednesday, they came in a little matted, dirty (a little) and smelly (also a little). To be fair, they were outside dogs on a farm.
They clean up nicely and are very cute.
So - we have had a delightful time with these pups. Even down to that familiar old relief when the babies, human or otherwise, would take their naps, and we could take a break.
Relaxing after a bath!!!
I think I will miss them and we've only had them 4 days!
