How I wish I had seen Roy Orbison when he made a stop in Northampton Or wait - that was Buddy Holly!!! But I digress!
Yes, it's 7:30 AM and I have a 9:30 date to paint with EB. As you remember, she couldn't make it on Friday so I painted alone.
I mostly paint alone - setting up my iPhone to Pandora - and listening to the tunes in my pocket!
But I digress again.
Painting with another painter is like adding a spice to a dish. It changes things ever so slightly. One of the best times was when I painted with Mary Giammarino. For the first time I was encouraged to put a building in my painting.
Mary is one of the best teachers in the Connecticut River Valley and in Provincetown.
By the way here is the first painting I did with Mary. I know, you can hardly see the building, but it was a big deal for me!
I know Mary is giving a workshop at The Cape School of Art at the end of November in Provincetown, MA.
